This beautiful trunk is in decent shape for being from the late 1800's. It's oak with embossed tin. It has been partially restored. Cleaned with a light sanding and clear coat. The hinges are not period correct and the locking mechanism has been updated but has no key. It works great for extra space saving storage the way it sits now. It could also be a great starting point for someone to fully restore. Would make an awesome hope chest, memory box, retirement gift, keep sake, anniversary gift or even a fantastic conversation piece in home or office. It is very sturdy as well especially for being well over 100 years old. Shipping will be discussed between buyer and myself through Mercari $350 plus shipping or $450 and I'll cover the shipping
